Small to Tall Pediatric Dentistry

I brought my daughter in to have one cavity filled using laughing gas. This was her first time using that method but I was told if we need to change the method because it was too much for her to handle we can. Getting started my daughter was slightly nervous but she was in good spirits and confident due to only having good experiences with dental care thus far. When getting numbed using the dental syringe the assistant was having conversation with the one administering the numbing and my daughter twice had to ask them to stop as it was hurting and it seemed as though if they weren’t distracted it wouldn’t have been painful. Before the dentist came in we were told the assistant is there to remind her to breathe through her nose and to keep her comfortable. Neither of these things happened. And I was under the impression of it was to overwhelming we would stop and come back for a different form of treatment to ensure she wasn’t going to have a bad experience at the age of 5. But I was wrong, as soon as they placed the band on the tooth my daughter wasn’t calm. Instead of calming her, telling her to nose breathe, etc. they continued to add more instruments in her mouth and work on her

My 3 year old had a filling done today and was under conscious sedation. Although the sedation didn’t work with his body as hoped to relax him for this procedure, Dr. Walsh was still able to successfully complete treatment with professionalism and care. I will always trust and recommend this pediatric practice to take necessary measures to meet the needs of my children. As a dental assistant myself, I’m impressed and grateful for the skills the dentists in this office bring to our community! Thank you to the dentist and assistant for the great care with my son today.

I rarely leave reviews, but I feel other parents deserve to know about our experience. All three of my children were recommended for significant dental treatment at this office. My youngest was told he had multiple “very deep” cavities that were “close to the nerve” and needed full sedation. My middle child was told he had severe cavities, would likely need conscious sedation, and might even need to be restrained because he probably wouldn’t sit still. We were told they couldn’t even get his X-rays because he wouldn’t cooperate, but that they would take them while he was sedated. My daughter was told she had a cavity that needed to be drilled and filled. I expressed concern about how invasive these treatment plans seemed, especially for my boys. When I decided to cancel the procedures and seek a second opinion, the response was discouraging. I was told that if we tried treatment with nitrous instead and it didn’t work, there would be a $100 “try fee.” When I requested copies of my youngest son’s X-rays, I was told, “I doubt you have the technology to view them,” which I found incredibly dismissive. 12/10 experience!! Dr Rowley did a great job with my son's procedure & the assistant was so kind and helpful! The hygienist did such a great job getting him numb, my son didn't even know she had used a needle! Highly recommend this office!

I cant say enough amazing things about this Pediatric Dentistry. From the facility to the staff and the service, absolutely incredible!!!. I will never take my child anywhere else and I recommend Small to Tall to everyone that has a little. My little had a pretty bad trauma incident with his two front teeth, Small to Tall not only fixed his teeth but fixed the messed up repair that was done previously by a different Dentistry. I can't thank them enough for what did for my child, Small to Tall gave my son his smile back!
